Cheryl is an accomplished professional with over 10 years of experience in communications. She began her impressive career as an Account Executive for Independent TV Sales in LA. From there she moved to D&H Marketing where she was a Marketing Executive, implementing strategies for local businesses and special events. Her longest run came in 1994 at Black Entertainment Television. For the last 5 years she successfully managed the West Coast Affiliate Sales Department as the Director. She is credited for the distribution of BET and BET Jazz in the Western Region. Cheryl currently serves on the Board of Directors for Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM). She is also a member of a number of Professional organizations including Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) and the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC).

Cheryl's educational background is from the University of Southern California where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, School of Letters, Arts & Sciences. She is still very tied to the school as she volunteers on many committees and philanthropic groups.
